1. Horse Riding on the Beach

2. Carnforth Railway Station

Visit the setting of the 1945 David Lean film, ‘Brief Encounter', and take the time to recreate the famous kiss under the clock at this historical location set in the beautiful town of Carnforth. Take your place in the Refreshment Room and enjoy the surroundings with a romantic tea.

It’s not wider than a mile, but the Lune which cuts through some of Lancashire’s loveliest countryside before it meets the sea at Lancaster, takes its name from the Latin for moon, luna.
