Mary O'Gara Foundation Charity Ball announced at Preston North End

North End Events has announced it will host a charity ball in support of the Mary O’Gara Foundation at Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium.

The event will bring together members of the local community for an evening of fundraising in aid of the Mary O’Gara Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to the prevention of youth suicide.

The charity was founded in memory of Mary O’Gara, with the aim of helping to reduce the number of young lives lost to suicide and supporting those affected by loss. Its work focuses on promoting mental wellbeing, raising awareness and providing practical support within the community.

Organisers say the Charity Ball is designed to be both an enjoyable evening and an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for the Foundation’s ongoing work. Money raised on the night will be donated directly to the charity and will support its awareness, education and prevention initiatives.

Guests attending the event can expect a full evening programme, with tickets including:

• A welcome drink on arrival.
• A specially curated three-course meal.
• Live entertainment throughout the night.
• A raffle and silent auction, featuring prizes including Preston North End memorabilia.

The event will take place within the unique surroundings of Deepdale Stadium, combining the atmosphere of a historic sporting venue with a formal charity occasion.

Organisers hope the evening will not only be enjoyable for guests but also make a genuine difference by supporting an important cause.

The Charity Ball will take place on Saturday 23 May, from 7.30pm until 1am. Earlier in the day, the Mary O’Gara Foundation will also host its annual Family Fun Day, which is free to attend and will run from 1-4pm at the Sherwood Pub car park.
