Long Distance Walks

In this section...

  1. The Burnley Way - 40 Miles in 6 parts
A 40 mile adventure from industrial heritage, along waterways, through fields, parks, old farms and Forest of Burnley woodlands to the wild South Pennine Moors.
  2. Lancashire Coastal Way - 137 miles
The Coastal Way is a 137 mile footpath following the Lancashire coastline from Merseyside to Cumbria. The Lancashire coastal walk provides spectacular views of Morecambe Bay, the Bowland Fells and the Lake District, and the opportunity, particularly in spring and autumn, to observe the large variety of waders and seabirds for which the Lancashire coast and estuaries are internationally important.
  3. The West Craven Way Part 1 - 12 miles
Explore the area to the south and east of Barnoldswick in this 12 mile circular walk. Starting in the foothills of Weets Hill the walk takes in the undulating countryside crossing through farmland and moors.
  4. West Craven Way - Part 2 - 12 Miles
12 Mile circular route taking in the area to the north and west of Barnoldswick.
