Accrington set to serve up a feast
#AmazingAccrington Food & Drink festival returns
Discover Hyndburn for a day out that brings together heritage, green spaces and a strong link to Lancashire’s industrial past. In the heart of the borough, Oswaldtwistle Mills is a popular visitor destination, with a mix of shops, local products and places to eat set within a former weaving mill. In Accrington, Howarth Art Gallery, offers a great afternoon out, with its Arts and Crafts house, fine art collections and the unique Tiffany Glass collection, set within the grounds of Haworth Park.
There’s also plenty of opportunity to spend time outdoors, with Rhyddings Park and Haworth Park providing space for walking, relaxing and enjoying seasonal displays. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal passes through the area too, offering quieter routes for walking and cycling alongside the water. With a combination of heritage attractions, cultural highlights and open spaces, Hyndburn offers a varied and interesting place to visit.
