With 650 acres of woodland, parklands, argricultural lands, meadows, a lake, the River Lostock and 10 miles of paths Cuerden Valley Park is a refuge of countryside at the heart of Lancashire.
Lancaster Lune Aqueduct was designed by John Rennie and carries the 20 foot wide canal over the Lune. The aqueduct was restored in 2011-2012, and can now be enjoyed on foot or by canal boat.
A Country Park with 185 acres of extensive conifer woods and moorland. Visitor Centre with cafe, picnic areas, 6 car parks, forest walks and viewpoints. Summit 266m above sea level.
