Looking for something a little different to do in Lancaster? Step away from the usual sightseeing and dive into an interactive treasure hunting experience that turns the whole city centre into your adventure playground.
Explore the streets of Lancaster, unlocking a hidden trail by finding clues, solving puzzles, completing challenges and earning points along the way, all self-guided through the Go Quest Adventures app. See the area's highlights, explore its hidden gems and learn some insider history and fun facts along the way (even locals will discover something new). Then find your team's place on the city leaderboard.
Your adventure will begin at the heart of the city at the imposing Town Hall, then wind you through the streets to the castle, alongside the River Lune, past Market Square and back to your starting location. During your quest you might discover why the city was once known as The Hanging Town, learn about its importance as a port city in the 18th and 19th Centuries, hear about who was committed for kissing, and discover what is the Taj Mahal of the north. You might even hear a ghost story or two. Not to let you in on all the secrets.
As the quest is self guided you can start your quest whenever you want, get instant access with nothing to print off from home. Go as fast as you want and try to top the leaderboard, or go at your own pace, stopping for rest breaks along the way. Add up to five people to your quest for one low price.
So gather your crew, put on some comfy shoes and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Lancaster Quest.
This is an ideal outdoor activity for couples, families, groups of friends, school groups and can be the perfect team building or corporate activity. Please note that it is not wheelchair or pram friendly, due to the number of stairs involved along the way. Customised quests and group packages are available upon request.
Will you conquer the quest?
