Colne Artisan Market launches this Saturday

Colne is set to welcome an exciting new monthly event as the Colne Artisan Market officially launches this Saturday, 9th May. Bringing together a fabulous mix of local makers, food traders, and creatives, the market promises to become a standout destination for both residents and visitors from further afield. 

Taking place outside the newly renovated Colne Market Hall and along Parliament Street Car Park, the event is the result of a collaboration between Independent Street, the new operators of Colne Market Hall, and Colne BID. Together, they aim to deliver a high-quality artisan market that celebrates independent businesses and the best of local talent.

Visitors can expect an impressive line-up of traders offering everything from handcrafted goods and unique gifts to delicious street food, pies, tasty cheese and sweet treats.

Alongside the fantastic shopping and food offering, the market will feature live entertainment and family-friendly activities, including live music from Kerry Sheree, face painting by Umbrella Face Paints, and an interactive sand art workshop.

The Colne Artisan Market will run from 10am to 4pm and will take place on the second Saturday of every month going forward, creating a regular hub for community engagement and supporting small businesses.
