New pottery painting studio opening at Lancashire Garden Centre

A brand-new pottery painting experience is coming to Barton Grange Garden Centre just in time for Easter.

Opening on Friday 3^rd April, The Potting Shed Studio is designed for all ages and abilities to relax, have fun and get creative.

Customers can paint the piece of pottery of their choice before it is fired in the kiln to create a keepsake to treasure. 

Not only is pottery painting a creative activity, but it’s also praised for its therapeutic benefits, promoting mindfulness and calm.

Blue Diamond Group Events Manager Rebecca Gurnett says: “Our new Potting Shed Studio is the perfect venue for all occasions from birthday celebrations and family times, to girls’ nights and first dates. 

“It’s a chance for children and adults alike to unleash their artistic talents and create memories and masterpieces!” 

Booking costs just £1 and then you pay for what you paint with the booking fee deducted from the pottery purchase.  

Choose from a wide selection of ceramic pieces including mugs, figures, photo frames, vases and much more. All pottery takes up to two weeks to be fired in the kiln.  

The new studio will offer a variety of activities including pottery painting sessions, children’s events and seasonal workshops.
