Courtesy of Lancahire County Council"Lancashire commemorates World War One" is your website that signposts you to the many events taking place across the county to mark the centenary of the "war to end all wars".

Tens of thousands of proud Lancastrians perished in this war. Their names are recorded on war memorials in every city, town and village. We will remember them.

A whole host of Lancashire organisations are running events, including the army, navy, air force, emergency services, local government, religious, museums, Pals organisations, veterans groups and many more.
