Leyland Festival  

Head to Leyland this weekend to watch the spectacular parade through the town centre with heritage vehicles, sports cars, community floats and performance followed by the popular festival on Worden Park! This year, entry to the festival will be FREE and will cater for activities for the whole family

Create: Seaside Poster Making
Showtown activity hub, Blackpool

Join Showtown and artist Nicolas Burrows and create your own seaside poster at this family workshop. Play with colour, shape, words and pattern to design a fabulous poster advertising Blackpool. This event is FREE but booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Preston City Mela
Preston Flag Market

The Preston City Mela is a vibrant celebration of South Asian arts, culture, tradition, and heritage. The first Mela in Preston dates back to 1992, and one has continued to be hosted every year since. Today, Preston City Mela is mainly celebrated in the summer on the Flag Market. The event is bursting with performances and traditional South Asian music and dancing.

Colne Super Soapbox Challenge
Albert Road, Colne

Come along on Sunday 18th June 2023 to watch brave soapbox racers hurtle down our huge ramp outside the Town Hall, all the way down Albert Road, to the finish line outside Tubbs of Colne at The Colne BID Super Soapbox Challenge. It'll be a great day out for all the family with continual commentary and all the action visible on large format screens.
