Wyre’s much-loved family festival is back and with just weeks to go, final release tickets are now available from only £12 per person
Did you know that 80% of Lancashire is rural? With its rolling countryside, rugged moorland and extensive waterways, the county is a natural playground for outdoor explorers and adventure seekers alike. Whether you’re into skiing, sailing, climbing or something a little more daring, Lancashire offers plenty of opportunities to get your adrenaline pumping and experience the great outdoors.
For those who prefer to explore at a gentler pace, Lancashire is perfect for walking and cycling, with two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty to discover. Take on the iconic Pendle Hill, steeped in the легенд of the Pendle Witches, or explore the Forest of Bowland with its remote fells, wildlife, riverside trails and traditional villages. Along the way, you’ll find plenty of welcoming cafés, pubs and restaurants to refuel, and with a wide range of places to stay, it’s easy to turn your visit into a relaxing short break.
