Traditional country pub serving excellent quality home cooked food located on the A49 in the charming village of Charnock Richard, Lancashire. Situated within easy reach of motorway connections & the market town of Chorley. The cities of Liverpool, Preston & Manchester are all within an easy 30 minute drive.
Tastefully decorated with snug areas, an open fire and outdoor seating area with countryside views overlooking Rivington and Winter Hill.
Executive Chef Kevin Bath has 17 years catering experience after training at Paul Heathcote's School of Excellence. An extensive menu has developed featuring produce by local butcher McRobb and other Lancashire suppliers where possible. Lunch and evenings meals are served daily and breakfast is also served at weekends. Smaller portions and childrens dishes are also available.
The bar has a wide selection od drinks available including bottled largers, hand pulled beers, ciders, guinness, a large selection of fine malts and whiskeys as well as an extensive wine and gin menu.
The spacious outdoor area has recently been renovated to allow for outdoor dining and drinks and now also houses a number of booths which you can sit and relax in whilst taking in the lovely views.
Should you wish to stay the night they offer five luxury renovated bedrooms all of which are tastefully decorated and include en-suite facilities, colour flat screen tv's, tea and coffee making facilties, complimentary biscuits, toiletries and wifi internet connection.
