Stonyhurst College is open to the public at limited times of the year for guided tours of the College, and entry to the Old Chapel Museum. Visitors are given the opportunity to see the various chapels and historic rooms within the building.
This includes former pupil, Arthur Conan Doyle’s school desk, the Great Hall with portraits of the seven former pupils awarded the Victoria Cross and the table Oliver Cromwell slept on the night before the Battle of Preston in 1648.
The tour will also give an insight into the daily of life of Stonyhurst pupils, past and present.
