About Light Up Lancaster: Explore Week

Packed with hands-on opportunities to explore light, art and science, there’s plenty to get involved in at Explore Week, from creating imaginary worlds with projected light with artist Alan Morris, to sculpting glowing clay houses with Ingrid’s Pottery and making glowing paper moths with artist Rachel Allsop. Families can also get stuck into dance and light workshops with Ludus Dance, alongside a whole host of other free activities at The Storey during half term. It’s a great way to get creative, try something new and discover the ideas behind Light Up Lancaster ahead of the main festival.
