    BE A KEEPER FOR THE DAY!

    Work alongside a keeper, get involved with all the daily tasks including cleaning out and replenishing the animals bedding. Food preparation, feeding and creating enrichment for selected animals. 

    You will have special access to the keeper only areas and have the opportunitiy to interact with some of the animals.  You will recieve an A5 full colour photograph and certificate to take home and remember your experience.

    Keeper for the Day Experiences are very hands on and interactive. It is recommended that you wear clothes you do not mind geting dirty or smelly!  Sturdy shoes are a must and long hair to be tied back.  Dress for the british weather.  Breaktime brews and snacks are included in each option, lunch is not provided.

Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s hair-raising horror story, spooky dystopian thriller The Body Snatcher steals its way onto The Dukes’ stage this November. 

Merging mystery, morality and music, including live performances of songs by David Bowie and The Clash, and shot through with humour, this entertaining new adaptation from theatre company Thunder Road brings Stevenson’s Burke-and-Hare-inspired tale into the 21st century.

The event, organised by the Worldwise Learning Centre at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), will screen nine foreign language films between Monday 14 October and Sunday 20 October.
