If snowboarding is your scene, then look no further than the slopes of Rossendale. If you are age eight and above, then it’s your time to shine. Chilled snowboarding Wednesday evening sessions, are great to hang out and an instructor is on site for tips and tricks.
Ski and snowboard lessons can be tailored to age, ability and group size. A great way to get you started on your skis or board. The Hill have 50-minute taster sessions that are a perfect way of getting your feet into skiing. Ideal for someone who has never skied or snowboarded before. Get to know the basics on the beginner slope.
Beginner courses are run over a period of either two days for one hour and 50 minutes each, or four 50 minute sessions once a week for four weeks, set at different times throughout the week/weekend, so plenty of options to suit all. Start with the beginners course and move on to improvers.
No matter what level of skiing you are at, The Hill can tailor private lessons to you. Perfect for those wanting a family day out or preparing for a family ski holiday. If you would like to maximise your time and development on the slope, tailored one-to-one lessons are available with one of the skilled instructors.
Zoom down The Hill’s slope, the rubber donut ring and head to a tubing sessions. Fun tubing is the perfect weekend activity for all the family. Children as young as five can join in the fun.
Come on an adrenaline fuelled adventure at The Hill and visit the Airsoft arena. Test out your shooting skills with semi-automatic pistols. You can work your way up the target shooting range, all the way to bolt action sniper rifle.
During the one hour 15 minute sessions you can vary your choice of Airsoft weapon and practice your spy skills. Suitable for age eight plus. Airsoft sessions are also available as a group booking to book with your friends and see who has the best shot.
The Hill are partnered with DSUK (Disability Snowsports UK). Working together to make skiing and boarding accessible to all. DSUK has over forty years experience of teaching adaptive snowsports In the UK. Working with The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) To Introduce The Adaptive Snowsport Instructor Qualification Pathway. At The Hill, instructors have trained to become DSUK qualified, which means that The Hill are able to offer skiing and boarding to a variety of people who have a physical or mental disability, also people who are suffering from an injury or in recovery.
The Hill offer school/ college packages for a fun, exciting physical education lesson or even if it’s just to get out of the classroom and experience something new. To ensure that each session is fun, exciting, adrenaline-packed, and safe, friendly trained ski instructors are on the slopes with each group. Book a group of weekly lessons for a half or a full term or just try a one-off session. The group will be skiing in no time.
The Hill, also have opportunities for people who are undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh award and volunteering opportunities for 16 - 18 year olds. The Hill also offer coaching sessions, memberships, ladies only sking, volunteering opportunities and even room for parties.

At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Blackburn Road/A680 heading to Haslingden. Take slight left at Hud Rake. Turn left at Rake Foot. Take slight right to stay on Rake Foot. Continue onto Kirk Hill Road and continue onto Haslingden Old Road. The destination is signposted on the left. From M66: Continue onto A56, and take the slight right at A682 (signposted for Rawtenstall). Turn left at Schofield Road. Turn left at Haslingden Old Road. The destination is signposted on the right.
