Indoor Climbing wall
The Sports Centre’s 8mtr indoor climbing wall has 18 top rope and lead climbing lines + 2 auto belay devices.
Juniors are able to climb from 5+ and adults from 18+. There are a selection of climb classes throughout the week for both juniors and adults.
Junior classes NICAS 7yrs+ (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme)
Monday from 5pm / Wednesday from 5pm / Thursday from 5pm / Friday from 6pm / Saturday from 1pm
Little Monkeys 5yrs – 6yrs
Saturday 11am – 12pm
Junior Pay & Play 5yrs+ Fridays 7pm – 8pm
Adult classes 18yrs+ Instructor led pay & play sessions
Monday 8pm – 9pm / Wednesday 8pm – 9pm / Friday 8pm – 9pm
Independent competent climbing & the Induction process
Climbing inductions are for confident skilled climbers only aged 18+
An assessment of your competency to climb unsupervised is carried out by our qualified instructors. You can Pre – Book any assessment for a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8pm – 9pm subject to staff availability.

Indoor Bouldering wall
The sports Centre’s bouldering wall is available to juniors 5yrs + / 13yrs Accompanied by a competent inducted adult 18yrs+ .
Juniors 14yrs + can be signed off to climb independently subject to a ‘Parent or Guardian’ consent form being completed followed by a bouldering induction. This induction is completed by one of our staff members and must have a ‘Parent or Guardian’ present for the induction.
Adults 18yrs+ must complete the bouldering wall induction prior to any independent climbing.
Inductions are subject to staff availability.
