About Beeston Manor

Award winning beautiful converted 16th Century Barn set in 140 acres of land with spectacular views and surrounded by Beeston Woods in the small village of Hoghton, near Preston. Ideally situated, close to the motorway networks (M6, M61, M55 and M65), and with the added facility of a helicopter pad, Beeston Manor is perfectly placed and accessible to couples from all over Lancashire and further afield. Beeston Manor has a licence to hold civil ceremonies, a quality restaurant, two beautiful function rooms (the Woodland and the Oakland) each with a backdrop of stunning, panoramic views and 14 en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has been beautifully designed and furnished for you and your guests' enjoyment and include flatscreen TV's. There are 10 double rooms and 1 single room located upstairs, which have the original oak beams and have exposed stone walls. Downstairs they have a king-size Bridal Suite, a further double room with a corner bath and a king-size room (which is also fitted with disabled facilities). The romantic ambience in Beeston Manor is tangible, and local legend has it that Beeston Wood has been the meeting place for generations of lovers over the centuries, making us the perfect choice for a romantic and stunningly beautiful wedding. This Grade II listed sandstone building has been restored and converted, with stone walls and exposed beams, by the Bickerstaffe family. The 16th Century Barn has many original features including the beautiful oak beams and the locally quarried pink sand stone. The new Woodland and Oakland Rooms were built in the year 2000 mirroring the building technique of the original barn. The Entrance Hall still features the original and very beautiful stone floor flags. Today, our Brides make their grand entrance to Beeston Manor stepping over these flags as they are welcomed by us into our beautiful wedding venue. Beeston Manor is run by the Bickerstaffe family who deliver a professional service while bringing a unique feeling of warmth to your wedding day.
