Claylands Park
Type:Camping & Caravan Site

Claylands Park is set on the banks of the River Wyre, overlooking the beautiful Trough of Bowland. It has been owned by the same family for over 50 years who have created a landscape masterpiece and won numerous awards, including the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. Planting over 5,000 indigenous trees, with careful development Claylands Park is a natural haven for squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits and 85 different species of bird life. But if you can bear to leave the site, it's within just 30 minutes drive of the Fylde Coast and the attractions of Blackpool and Morecambe, or if you prefer the great outdoors, the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
Claylands offer a range of accommodation, from beautifully appointed spacious holiday homes for up to seven people and bed and breakfast en suite rooms, to caravan and tent pitches. Each touring pitch has its own hard standing base and shaled awning area, plus a lush lawned area to extend your living space if required.
The Stepping Stones Riverside Bar & Restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday and the restaurant offers a wide choice of delicious home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers, to eat in or take away 12:00 to 21:00 every day.
There is a modern, free shower, toilet block and laundry room consisting of two each coin-operated commercial washers and driers and washing up facilities are open 24 hours a day. Drinking water and waste water disposal points are placed around the park.
Other facilities on the park include four fishing ponds, a children's play area and onsite shop for those basic essentials.
