Located in the hillside village of Mellor, the Millstone is a charming coaching inn serving fantastic food and a great range of real ales. As a AA Rosette award-winning restaurant, they pride theirselves on using local produce to create delicious food offerings. Fresh seasonal produce from trusted local and regional suppliers is what makes their menu so special.
The restaurant is cosy and welcoming, perfect for all occasions; from a tempting mid-week treat to a big family Sunday dinner. What’s more, if you’re looking for somewhere to host a special occasion, you can celebrate in the private dining room which seats up to 20 people, and allow their exciting food and drink selection to be enjoyed with those closest to you.

Turn right at the roundabout signed Blackburn and Mellor.At the next roundabout take the second left (to the right of the bakery) to Mellor.The Millstone is at the top of the hill on the right.From M65 - leave M65 at Junction 6 and take the 2nd exit - the A6119. Stay on the A6119 through various sets of lights until you pass the set with Knowles Arms on the left. Go straight through these lights and then at next traffic lights, turn right to Mellor, signposted 1.5 miles. Continue to the top of Lammack Road andturn left at the Spread Eagle. Follow the road for one mile and the hotel is onyour left at the junction with Church Lane and Mellor Lane.
