About Thornton Hall Camping

Thornton Hall Camping on the borders of Lancashire and Yorkshire is the perfect spot for families.

Boasting a number of electric and non-electric grass pitches, the site is situated on the grounds of Thornton Hall Country Park, a visitor attraction and farm park (open January - December), hosting a full calendar of special events throughout the year.

Thornton Hall Camping is suitable for tents, camper vans, motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents for both short stays or family holidays. The camp site is surrounded by rolling hills. It's the perfect location for relaxing and exploring the countryside.

Washing up facilities (spring to autumn).

Elson point.

Water filling point.

50% discount on entry into the farm park (excludes event days ie monster trucks event).

The farm park and diner are closed on Tuesdays during term-time.

Thornton Hall Camping is a certified Camping & Caravan Club site.

If you are looking for a break away but do not have a tent or camping facility then do not worry. From June to September the popular glamping village is open. Stay in one of the pre pitched bell tents and sleep on a comfortable Silentnight divan bed and mattress. All bell tents come complete with bedding and beds made on arrival and can sleep up to five people.

Prices start from £99 and each glamping visitor receives free entry into the children's farm park.
