Stanley Lodge Farmhouse

Stanley Lodge Farmhouse is a traditional, country farmhouse B&B set in a stunning location, with easy access to Lancaster, Garstang, the Fylde and surrounding areas. The farmhouse has four letting rooms, including two double bedrooms, one twin and a single, all of which feature a modern, en-suite shower room, wall-mounted TV and superb views of either the surrounding countryside or their tranquil garden. There are facilities for making hot drinks in each bedroom, with fresh milk and bottled water always available from the residents' fridge. There is also a residents' lounge where guests can meet up, watch TV, or enjoy a relaxing drink. Situated only a 5 minute drive from Junction 33 M6 and handy for the nearby market town of Garstang with its many independent shops and cafes, Stanley Lodge Farmhouse is also within easy reach of the historic city of Lancaster and its university, museums, castle and shopping area. The farmhouse is surrounded by many local attractions including farm shops, tea rooms and garden centres with the Lancaster Canal and the local lanes and footpaths beckoning those who enjoy walking and cycling. They are also within easy reach of the Trough of Bowland with its scenic beauty, the villages of the Yorkshire Dales are only an hour away and the majestic Lake District is easily accessible via the M6 motorway. A varied breakfast menu consisting of locally sourced ingredients is available, cooked freshly to order. In addition to the traditional English breakfast, guests can choose salmon, kippers or porridge, however those who prefer a lighter meal could select cereal, fruit and/or yogurt.
