Ivy Cottage Stanley Lodge Farm

A spacious one-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage, ideal for two people but able to accommodate additional guests if necessary. Ivy Cottage is a newly renovated cottage bungalow, offering modern and stylish facilities in a comfortable and relaxing countryside environment. The location is calm, peaceful and private yet within easy reach of Lancaster, Garstang, Morecambe and surrounding areas and only 5 mins from the J33 on the M6 motorway and from Lancaster University. There is one double bedroom and a shower room with a large, powerful shower and modern fittings, together with the option of using a sofa bed for up to two extra guests. The open-plan design of the living space combines a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area, opening onto a quiet and secluded patio and parking area outside. Towels and bed linen are provided, as are basic toiletries and cleaning products eg washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs and surface cleaner. The kitchen boasts an electric fan oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave alongside the essential kettle and toaster. The kitchen is fully equipped with ample crockery, cutlery, utensils, pans etc. We have a cot and a high chair for the use of guests with young children. The lounge has a flat screen TV and free WIFI is available. There is constant hot water and a user-friendly central heating system, so the cottage is always warm and cosy. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, subject to observance of some sensible hygiene rules, but they are not allowed to stay in the cottage alone. Ivy Cottage is a good base for holidaymakers, travellers, walkers and cyclists, and provides easy access to the Trough of Bowland, the Lake District, the Lancashire Coast and the Yorkshire Dales. It is also an excellent location for visitors to Lancaster University or the City of Lancaster itself.
