The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival is back this summer with three incredible days of live music across the beautiful little town of Colne.
The world famous, award winning festival returns with three fantastic venues in 2024 which will showcase the very best of blues music in the UK right now, as well as the most exciting emerging talent both locally and around the UK.
Headlining this year's festival will be multi-award winning guitar virtuoso, singer, songwriter, producer and band leader Matt Schofield and The Matt Schofield Trio; multi-award winning Irish guitarist Dom Martin & Band, hailed by many as the successor to the legendary blues/rock artists Rory Gallagher and fellow Belfast man Gary Moore; and described by many as 'the finest female blues singer of her generation' Kyla Brox & Friends.
The eagerly anticipated event will also feature a special tribute to blues legend Victor Brox. On the Friday, friends, family and colleagues of Victor will gather together at the Pendle Hippodrome to celebrate an incredible career which spanned over 60 years.
In what is one of the best value music festivals in the UK, The Official Fringe also gives you the opportunity to experience even more live music, with venues all over the town coming together to produce an event like no other.
With family fun entertainment also taking place throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend, you will be welcomed to 'bonny Colne upon the hill'.
