Yarrow Valley Country Park covers over 300 hectares and is located between Chorley and Coppull created on land previously used for bleaching, dyeing, calico printing and mining, Yarrow Valley Country Park is of local historical importance.
Fairhaven Lake is a superb setting on the Ribble Estuary with boating, tennis, putting, bowling an abundance of activities for all the family or just take a quiet stroll around the lake. Treat yourself to a snack or meal at the Lakeside Cafe.
Dating from 1912 Ightenhill Park is split in three bisected by Ightenhill Park Lane and Ighten Road. The park has recently updated tennis and ball courts and a bowling green that is well used by enthusiasts whenever the weather allows.
