Discover the Magic of HAPPA
Tucked away in the picturesque Thursden Valley, Shores Hey Farm is home to HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association). A warm, welcoming destination where families, animal lovers, and equestrians can connect with horses, nature, and the heart of a passionate community.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful countryside escape or a fun-packed day out, HAPPA has something for everyone. Meet the rescued horses and ponies, explore the fun and educational trails and let little ones run wild on the outdoor play area.
Feeling peckish? Stop by The HAPPA Café for delicious homemade meals, freshly baked cakes and locally sourced produce, all served with a side of stunning valley views. Don’t forget to visit HAPPA Direct, the onsite shop full of equestrian gifts, pre-loved tack and treats for animal lovers.
Want to learn something new! The friendly and experienced Education Team offer experiences all year round, including:
• Own a Pony Days and Pony Squad for younger visitors
• Equine Care and Care Club and the CPD Horse Care Course for adults
• Group tours and visits tailored to schools, clubs, and community groups of all ages!
There are many seasonal events, open days and family activities throughout the year, so there’s always something exciting happening at HAPPA!
Every visit helps support the mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses and ponies in need.
