Head Chef Tom Parker was trained at Michelin-starred Northcote, just 10 miles down the road and brings with him a passion for good British food, only cooking with the finest seasonal ingredients available on a daily basis from local suppliers. Examples of dishes include; pig's head nuggets to start, with mains such as smoked eel with charred kale, parsnip puree and a rich veal jus, guinea fowl with baked celeriac, wild mushrooms and lovage, cottage of oxtail pie using our very popular smoked mashed potatoes, sea bass with minted new potatoes and crushed peas and toad in the hole with venison sausages.
