Fairhaven Lake is an extremely popular destination and offers a choice of boat rides, a snack or meal by the waterside, bird watching, nature walks, tennis, bowling, adventure playground, an eighteen hole adventure golf course, and a Spitfire memorial.
The water sports centre allows visitors to try a kayak, canoe and paddle board. Advance courses and one to one lessons and paddle board hire can be enjoyed on the lake.
In autumn the lake is a very busy stopping off area for migrating birds and there’s a popular RSPB Centre which is free to visit, where you can find out about the latest sightings.
Adjacent parking and a ramp to the lakeside, as well as toilets and the routes around the lake offer easy mobility, plus the new adjacent promenade.
