The Assheton Arms

The two-storey, 130-cover Assheton Arms is the flagship venue in the Seafood Pub Company’s group. A recent refurbishment of the venue has refreshed the feel of the stylish restaurant whilst retaining its strong identity as a community village inn.

Guests are able to enjoy an extended stay at The Assheton Arms now that bedrooms and cottages have been added. Located in Ash Tree Cottage and the former Post Office in Downham, the 12 bedrooms include two family rooms sleeping up to four people.

Combining a truly unique location with stunning views of Pendle Hill, the outstanding food offering and excellent customer service, the new accommodation at the Assheton Arms is the perfect choice for somewhere to stay in the Ribble Valley. It is ideally suited to families looking for a weekend break and for corporate clients visiting businesses in locations such as Clitheroe, Blackburn or Burnley.

The bedrooms have been completed to a really high standard. The Assheton Arms is now offering guests the opportunity to extend their stay in the area.

With so much to do in the local area, and exciting events such as the Tour of Britain cycle ride passing right through the village, it is the perfect location for visitors to base themselves to explore the Ribble Valley and all of our hidden gems.
