Humblescough Farm

Humblescough Farm caravan and camping site is situated on a small working farm in Nateby, near Garstang. It is a perfect hideaway for an escape to the countryside and a great base for walking and cycling. There are five hard-standing pitches, each with electric hookup.  A wildlife pond is adjacent to the site and there are wonderful views of the Bowland Fells.

In addition, the Little Meadow camping field is open from April to October and offers a traditional camping experience with grasspitches for touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents.  Water and electric hook-ups are available and there is plenty of space for playing games. Campfires are allowed on the Little Meadow.

Facilities at Humblescough Farm include toilets and showers, a chemical toilet disposal point, a re-cycling and rubbish disposal area and an information hut which will provide you with plenty of ideas for places to visit in the local area.

At Humblescough the aim is to farm as sustainably as possible and the farm is part of an environmental stewardship scheme. They have installed solar panels which provide electricity for the shower block.

Humblescough is in close proximity to great places for day visits, including Morecambe Bay, Blackpool, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. The market town of Garstang, the first Fairtrade town in the world, is a five minute drive away.

Humblescough offer a range of outdoor experiences including archery sessions and family bush craft days.  Since they attempt to minimise light pollution on the site there are also opportunities for star-gazing on clear nights.  Fishing, golf and clay pigeon shooting are available in the nearby area.
