The Highwayman (Brunning & Price)

The Highwayman, an 18th century coaching inn, has been part of the Ribble Valley Inns since 2007 and in June 2014 re-opened following a comprehensive refurbishment. Visitors can enjoy a wonderful, relaxing environment offering true Lancashire hospitality on the beautifully appointed garden terrace or around a crackling log fire on a cold winter’s day.

The head chef delivers a menu which is carefully chosen using the very best produce from trusted local and regional suppliers. Dishes include British classics combined with the produce of our local and regional food heroes, the extraordinary artisan suppliers of the North West. Expect best cask ales, ciders, guest beers, a carefully hand-picked wine list and an extensive soft drinks range.

Road Directions

Burrow nestles just outside the picturesque town of Kirkby Lonsdale. So reaching the Highwayman couldn't be easier. Its only minutes from Junction 36 on the M6, or if you prefer a ride through some of Lancashire's most beautiful scenery, take the slightly more meandering road from Junction 34.
