About The Alma Inn

Nestled in the beautiful Pendle countryside, The Alma Inn is bursting with character and charm. The historic coaching Inn, with original beams and open fires, this historic venue has spectacular moorland views and is minutes from Wycoller Country Park, made famous for its references in the Bronte sisters' novels. A seafaring heritage is brought to life on the daily specials, making the most of the day's catch, combined with a main menu of great British classics with a timeless, pub charm. The elegant function room is a favourite for events. The Alma Inn has been helping people to celebrate for decades and today is no different. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, a life or a christening, The team is dedicated to ensuring you get everything you hoped from your event. Nine luxurious en-suite bedrooms are all equipped with the latest facilities, perfect for a traditional stay in the English countryside, with some fantastic walks nearby, and great access to Skipton, the Dales, and Lancashire's 'Capital of Cool', Colne. Afternoon tea The Alma's afternoon tea is served Monday - Saturday from 12:00 - 17:00, with an elegant selection of sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats, with a Prosecco option available too. Steak and lobster nights Friday spectaculars are sell-out events, switching between a steak night, and a lobster night, at the end of each month. On steak night, visit the butcher's table, learn more about the cuts, and select your size, or book for 'Lobster & Friends' night and enjoy whole lobster, mussels, crab and squid, with Prosecco. Daisy's Doddle The popular pub walks take place on the first Sunday of the month, taking in some of Lancashire's best kept secrets in the eastern-most boundary of the County. Complimentary bacon sandwiches and coffee are served from 9.30, before leaving at 10:00. Why not grab one of the famous roast dinners to recharge the tank when you get back.
