Working closely with the finest local suppliers with top quality produce, to offer home-cooked food on each and every plate, with special emphasis on simple, fresh and tasty dishes.

The majority of tables are left free from reservations so you can visit when you please.  There are no restrictions on your seat, so you can stay as long as you like once seated.  Alternatively, there are a few tables in the conservatory and well room, available for bookings when dining Monday to Friday each week.  Weekends remain walk ins only.

The bar offers a huge range of craft spirits and mixers, plus premium cask ales, draught beers, and beers in bottles and cans, seeking out the best authentic, independent, and genuinely high-quality drinks.  As a free house, the mission is simply to help you discover something you’ll love every time you visit.
