About Claylands Park Holiday Homes

Claylands Park was acquired by Fred and Margaret Robinson in 1959, when Claylands was a small 14 acre farm, set on the banks of the River Wyre and overlooking The Trough of Bowland. With this perfect canvas Fred & Margaret over 50 years have created this landscape masterpiece. Planting over 5,000 indigenous trees, with careful development Claylands Park is a natural haven for squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits and 85 different species of bird life. ?????All this hard work has been noticed, achieving numerous awards throughout the years. The Robinson family invite you to Claylands Park so you can enjoy the countryside and wildlife for yourself. Offering luxurious self catering holiday cottages. Claylands Park at Cabus in the Wyre Valley is already rated as one of the finest in the North West, with two modern and luxurious holiday houses, adjoining the park to provide a base for tourists or those who just want to get away from it all to relax in comfort and style. What the holiday houses have to offer: Both holiday houses, River View and Field View, have been designed to provide accommodation for up to seven people and will satisfy the most discerning, with a modern decor, full of character and all the services and facilities needed to provide home from home comforts. The holiday houses have both been designed and furnished to the same high standard. The only differences between them are the views. One overlooks the River Wyre and the other over pastureland. Neither are overlooked and the only visitors could be from grazing farm animals and the wildlife and birds which abound on the park. The double-glazed houses have impressive genuine green heat wood flooring downstairs where, as well as a double bedroom and shower room, there is a large, comfortable lounge with a dining area and an adjoining well fitted kitchen. For extra comfort in the lounge there is a leather suite, an attractive surround housing an electric coal effect fire and a colour television. The dining table will sit six in comfort and style. A small, private patio area leads out from the lounge. The kitchen is made up of roomy oak panelled units with plenty of workspace and included is a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Up the impressive oak staircase are two more double bedrooms, which like the downstairs one, are fitted with spacious wardrobes and dressing tables. One has a double bed and the other a three-quarter bed. There is also a box room with a single bed, built over useful units, ideal for a child.
