A brand new scare attraction has launched at Lancashire's very own SEA LIFE. The Blackpool attraction has opened its doors after hours for spinetingling fun for four nights only.
Ascarium: After Dark allows visitors to wander amongst the fishes as extra characters come to life. From the minute you step through the doors you know you are in for a fright as a Victorian gentleman reminds you of the rules of the attraction and reminds you that those who don't follow the rules will be marked!
The characters you meet as you wander through the aquarium are a far cry from those usually in residence. Alongside the serene and wonderful aquatic creatures, you will meet a black widow lurking in the shadows, two girls hoping for a playmate to join in their fun and a slightly crazy clown. Be warned to those who head to the shark window in the Sting Ray Adventure Zone; there is only one route up there, and you may just be followed.
Remember, wherever you go, a character may just lurk, waiting to jump out, ask you to play a game, or even attempt to drag you into the depths with you. Are you ready for a fright?
However, as you walk through the attraction, you also get chance to enjoy the company of the creatures of the deep, with the stingrays, sharks, fish and more all happy to see you after hours. The ocean tunnel remains a calm and inviting space, you just have to go past a few scares to get there! The Ocean View area also leaves you with a safe space to relax, and you can even grab a drink from the café to enjoy in there too.
