The area is often referred to as a “mini Lake District” due to its rugged hills, picturesque reservoirs and beautiful woodland. It makes the perfect for those looking for a less crowded New Year destination.

For those looking for a more level route Yarrow Valley Country Park in Chorley boasts a great play area and walk to a stunning waterfall or why not check out the beautiful surroundings of Astley Park where Father Christmas himself will be visiting this year.
