Route of the white path between Rishton and Great Harwood. A pleasant route, following an old railway line and linking to the canal towpath, ideal for leisure or travelling to work or school.
Great Harwood is the home of Alan Ramsbottom, a talented cyclist who completed in the Tour de France and many other professional races in the 1960’s. As a local resident he is often seen supporting local cycling events.
