Whalley Warm and Dry

#RedefiningLancashire.  We are very excited to launch our specialist boot fitting and customisation service in the great outdoors.  Multi-award-winning service delivered in the wonderful fresh air!  Weather permitting, visitors could enjoy a boot fitting in the garden at the front of the shop.  By appointment only to allow us to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.  #RedefiningLancashire

Whalley Warm & Dry is a multi-award winning, family run outdoor clothing and footwear specialist situated in the picturesque village of Whalley. It won the title of ‘Best Independent Outdoor Footwear Retailer’ for the third time at the UK’s Footwear Industry Awards 2017 and ‘Retail Experience Award‘ at the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2017.

With footwear available in 5 different widths (including half sizes), a renowned specialist boot fitting service plus the option to customise the fit of the footwear, it’s not surprising thousands of customers travel from across the country each year to visit.

Trained fitters take ten detailed measurements to ascertain your foot length, volume and size, followed by analysis on the state-of-the- art pressure plate to identify the type of foot arch and pressure distribution. Footwear that is not only the right size, width, volume and shape for your feet but also perfect for your chosen activity is then recommended. Wearing the right footwear means you can enjoy walking even more. Happy feet, happy walker!

A wide range of Páramo outdoor clothing is also available in store.
