Created in 1997 Burnley Forest covers 430 hectares of native woodland, with 44km of footpaths, bridleways and cycleways. You can explore the woodland via 5 middle distance walks that can be downloaded via the links below.

In early autumn a Heritage and Woodland Festival takes place at Towneley Hall to celebrate the countryside and woodlands of Burnley.
