Staining Lodge Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 course set in 160 acres of rural Fylde countryside. With views stretching to the Pennines. yet only 10 minutes drive from the M55, Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Poulton le Fylde and Kirkham the course offers easy accessibility combined with the feeling of being totally in the countryside.
Staining Lodge is a pay and play course that offers memberships and golf contracts whilst remaining accessible to all types of golfers from beginners and weekend golfers to regular players with handicaps and a competitive streak.
The course rarely closes due to inclement weather, has generous fairways to aid the less advanced golfer and four par 5's to test the more experienced golfer.
The bar/restaurant serves food including homemade cakes and drinks until dusk.

Partner of Visit Lancashire 2018Directions from Poulton / Lancaster: Take Hardhorn Road out of Poulton (from Lancaster left at the third traffic lights on Garstang Road East). Turn left at the T-junction at the end of Hardhorn Road onto Longhouse Lane then second right onto Smithy Lane (narrow with passing places). Turn left at the windmill, then left again at The Plough pub. Continue along Chain Lane reaching the golf course on your left past the village hall. Directions from M55: Turn off at junction four. Follow signs for Blackpool along Preston New Road. Turn right at the second lights. Follow Mythop Lane for half a mile then turn sharp left into Chain Lane. After a mile the golf course is on your right.
