Cheshire Falconry

Individuals and groups can prepare to be amazed as they put on the gauntlet and get hands on with magnificent birds of prey in a range of truly incredible flying experiences led by an expert falconry team.

Full Day Falconry - 14 years+
A unique day with birds of prey in which participants get hands-on and fly a variety of different species throughout the morning session before spending the afternoon flying hawks in the Cheshire Countryside. Includes flying a range of species of birds of prey such as Hawks, Owls, Buzzards, Eagles and more! You will also learn a little about the natural lives of each bird.

Note: under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

The Raptor Encounter - 1.5 hours - 14 years+
A hands-on flying taster session where you will be given a gauntlet and shown how to fly the birds to your glove. You will fly two different birds of prey.

Family Falconry - 1 hour - 5 years
An exclusive Family Falconry experience with an hour long session that allows families to enjoy the birds together in their own private group (2 adults and 2 children) where they will be able to handle and fly a variety of birds of prey, such as Owls, Hawks and more all under the expert guidance of an experienced falconer

Eagle Adventure - 3 hours - 14 years+
An exclusive experience spent with the most powerful, magnificent raptors of them all - the Eagles. Get hands-on with the largest birds of prey in the collection and fly them free in the surrounding countryside.

Meet the Birds - 3 hours - 14 years
Prepare to be amazed as you fly different species of bird of prey, from hawks to owls, eagles and more.

Walk on the Wildside - 3 hours -  14 years+
This spectacular afternoon starts with a lesson in handling the birds you will be flying free in the Cheshire countryside. You will be escorted to one of our hawking grounds accompanied by a team of hawks where you will witness the remarkable teamwork of falconer and bird.

Owl Encounter - 3 hours - 14 years
A very unique experience for all grown up owl fans. Get hands-on and fly a variety of beautiful owls from amongst the smallest to the largest.

Junior Owl Experience - 0.5 hour -  4-14 years
One for the children! This session is specifically designed for juniors enabling younger children from age four to get hands-on have fun and fly an owl.
