A host of famous faces were spotted enjoying a day out in Blackpool for the opening of Pleasure Beach Resort’s Halloween event, Journey to Hell.
Two of Blackpool’s best-loved trams are to take centre stage on the seafront during the town’s Lightpool celebrations later this week.
Blackpool will compete with three other cities to win the accolade, which would mean a £10m, year-long celebration of arts and culture for local people to enjoy, creating new jobs and opportunities across the Fylde coast.
