Witton Country Park is 480 acres of beautiful mixed woodland, parkland and farmland located 1 mile to the west of Blackburn town centre in Pennine Lancashire.
Located on National Cycle Route Network 6 and close to the Leeds & Liverpool canal the park is very accessible by bike.

There are two trails in the park:
A red trail is designed for proficient mountain bikers with good off-road riding skills and a high level of fitness.

A black trail is designed for expert mountain bikers with excellent off-road riding skills where high level of stamina over long periods of time.

Road Directions

The main entrance to Witton Park is off Preston Old Road A674, 1 mile from Blackburn town centre. There is ample parking just through the gates.

Public Transport Directions

Cherry Tree railway station is 0.5 mile away.
There are regular bus services operating past the main entrance. Bus 152 from Preston to Blackburn every 30 minutes during the day.
