Lytham

Lytham is a coastal town known for its open green, seafront setting. The wide expanse of Lytham Green looks out across the Ribble Estuary, with the town’s well-known windmill standing as a focal point and housing an exhibition on local history. Close by, a mix of independent boutiques, speciality shops and delicious restaurants give the centre its character, making it a popular spot to spend time throughout the year.

A short distance from the centre, Lytham Hall offers a glimpse into the area’s past, set within extensive parkland and surrounded by formal gardens and woodland. The hall hosts exhibitions and events alongside its café, shops and art displays. Lytham is also home to a busy events calendar, from the large-scale Lytham Festival to the much-loved 1940s Wartime Weekend, while nearby St Annes hosts its own highlights including the International Kite Festival along the seafront.
