La Locanda Ristorante Italiano & Wine Bar

Nestled in the heart of Gisburn, a quaint village on the edge of the Ribble Valley, which neighbours the beautiful Forest of Bowland, La Locanda is the UK’s most awarded Italian restaurant outside of London.

Maurizio and Cinzia, La Locanda’s esteemed owners, treat regular patrons like family and new customers like friends of old. They want you to relax, slow your day and savour the true tastes and flavours of Italy.

Not to be confused with the most commonly found representation of Italian food in the UK, La Locanda delivers a truly authentic experience and, to affirm this, is one of only 27 UK Italian restaurants, outside of London, to be awarded the Ospitalità Italiana certificate for their passionate adherence to Italian food culture and heritage.

Also, avid proponents of the Slow Food movement and its ethos of good, clean and fair food for all; La Locanda is enormously supportive of the fabulous array of Lancashire grown and reared produce, and sources a large proportion of their top quality ingredients from local producers.
