Lytham Gin Tasting Experience

Sandgrown Spirits was founded in 2018 by ex-chemistry teacher Sara Dewhurst and her husband Paul.  Initially located at home in the garage, they moved to their distillery on an industrial estate on the edge of Lytham in 2019.  The company produces a range of award winning traditional and contemporary gins and flavoured rums.

Gin tasting events are hosted at least five times each month in the mezzanine bar, which overlooks the production area.

For £25.00, visitors can enjoy two and a half hours of ginformation, try plenty of gin and rum and receive a £5.00 discount to spend in the distillery shop.  Learn about perfect serves, different styles of gin, try a variety of tonics and garnishes to understand how this changes flavour.  Find out about how gin is made, its history and what inspired Lytham Gin’s impressive range of gin, created from locally foraged botanicals.

Group gin tasting and distillery tours are available upon request.  Perfect for team building, special occasions or some fun with friends.  The experience can be customised.
