About Fleetwood Food, Fish and Music Festival

A brand-new three-day summer festival celebrating Fleetwood’s coastal identity, honouring its fishing past, and showcasing the people and businesses that continue to sustain the town’s rich maritime legacy today.

Rooted in Fleetwood’s deep connection to the sea, the festival will deliver a lively, family friendly programme with something for everyone.  Visitors can enjoy a bustling continental market, fresh fish and seafood stalls, live cooking demonstrations from local chefs, and a traditional funfair for all ages.  On Friday, festivalgoers are invited to take part in the much-anticipated return of the Fish Queen competition, not held since 1939, where one lucky winner will be crowned Fish King or Queen, reviving a much-loved piece of Fleetwood’s history.  Live entertainment will also take centre stage, with local favourites The Deadbeats bringing a high energy party atmosphere with hits from across the decades, alongside performances from the Flat Caps, adding to a packed weekend of music and entertainment.

The festival will also celebrate the heritage of Fleetwood with a wide variety of stalls showcasing Fleetwood Museum and its significant maritime collections, and will be delivered in partnership with Fleetwood Market, reinforcing the town centre’s role at the heart of community life.
