About Arts Award Discover : Lantern Puppet Making - Horse + Bamboo
Arts Award is a fun and practical course that complements the National Curriculum and is accredited by Trinity College London. It offers children and young people aged 5-25 the chance to get creative, discover new and inventive ways to explore the arts and find inspiration through imagination.
Lantern Puppet Making
Throughout these workshops, you will learn how to create & manipulate your own lantern puppets. Make something that can be worn, carried or waved - and it lights up!
After creating your own lantern puppet - participants will be invited to volunteer as a puppet walkabout guide at this years Pumpkin Trail at Edgeside Park! (Pumpkin Trail takes place on Sunday 1st November 2026 - and is optional after completing the Arts Award Workshops)
