Blackburn Cathedral Presents: A Ceremony of Carols - Blackburn Cathedral

Combining two of the best-loved classical Christmas works of all time, this promises to be a very special concert.

The first half features ‘La Nativité du Seigneur’ by Olivier Messiaen - one of the 20th Century’s most famous and colourful Christmas organ pieces
performed by Director of Music, John Robinson.

Following the interval, the Cathedral will come alive to Benjamin Britten’s captivating masterpiece ‘A Ceremony of Carols’ which combines harp and the sensational voices of the junior Cathedral choristers.

This concert is the perfect antidote to the stresses of the festive period.
