Summer Workshop: Photography (Landscape) Ages 7 - Lowther Pavilion & Gardens

This summer, spark a love of photography in your child with a fun, hands-on workshop led by a local photographer, Claire Walmsley Griffiths.

Designed especially for beginners aged 7+, this full-day session will introduce the basics of capturing great images in a friendly and creative environment.

Participants will build confidence with photography through guided activities and practical exercises. Whether they’re using a digital camera or simply curious about photography, this workshop is the perfect way to develop new skills, make friends, and get inspired.

Our photography day is a great opportunity for your child to get hands on experience using real photography equipment to create their own creative artwork. During this workshop the focus will be on landscape photography, taking advantage of the beautiful gardens and setting of the Lowther Pavillion. Our expert photographer will support and guide your child, giving them some of the skills they’d need each step of the way to catch their own moments on camera in an artistic way.

All abilities welcome – just bring curiosity and creativity!
